Discocarpus is a genus of the plant family Phyllanthaceae first described as a genus in 1841.cite-ref-1[1]cite-ref-2[2] It is native to northern South America.cite-ref-j-3-0[3]cite-ref-4[4]cite-ref-5[5]cite-ref-6[6] It is dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate plants.cite-ref-7[7]
